SPECIAL NOTICE BOARD

Crew Bank / Crew Wanted
Vicky Vachon Fleet Captain

We are currently attempting to build our sailing base – both racing and cruising. In an attempt to interest future club members / sailors /potential boat owners, we are hoping to offer 2 new events. First, we would like to offer non sailors a chance to learn to sail on a keelboat So we would ask for a few ‘sailors’ to host a few non sailors on a Tuesday night. We’re hoping to be able to offer sailing for adults on 2 Tuesday nights/month for June, July and August. If you are interested in having your boat involved in this either for one, a few or every Tuesday night, please let us know by signing up in mid-May on the sailing bulletin board.

Secondly, for those who are racing and need crew, we are introducing an addition to our website – crew wanted/crew available. This would allow those interested in crewing to post a brief resume on the website. Coming soon, in the interim leave info at bar.

Saturday, June 1  -  PEYC Pot Luck Supper & Trivia Quiz; quiz to follow pot luck.  Registration Form at the bar;  register your team under "Team Name"; max 6 players per team, $2 per player.  Can you beat the "The Lancasterians"  who won the 2009 trivia quiz with 38 points???

Notice to all stage performers & back stage hands :  Please take note that the 2nd PEYC Variety Show has been rescheduled from mid-summer to Saturday, October 20, 2012.  More information to follow.  If you have any questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact either Linda Austin, House Director via 476-0192 ; mandalaynorth1@gmail.com  OR  Bev Gorsline, Manager  via 476-5585 ;  peyc@rpersona.ca
