Miss Supertest Commemorative Stamp
John Lyons with the assistance of Diane Denyes-Wenn,
curator of the Marine Museum put forward a proposal to the Canada
Post Commemorative Stamp Selection Committee to issue a stamp in honour
of the 50th anniversary of the Miss Supertest /Harmsworth Race.
Canada Post in a news release April 28,2010 announced that a new stamp
issue in the 2011 program will include Miss Supertest III marking the
glory of the Canadian hydroplane racer, three time winner of the
Harmsworth Cup.
