13 THE COURSE

The starting line will be between a staff displaying an orange flag on the signal boat and the port-end starting mark off McFarland Park Dock.

Green Island red spar to starboard

Waupous Island to starboard

Finish off Waupous Marina west break wall and buoy. 

14 SHORTENING COURSE

This provision is to accommodate Waupous Marina staff B.B.Q. preparations and serving. The lead boat is to anchor off Indian Point and take times and sail numbers, if not past the point by 1700 hrs. Fleet is to finish between the anchored boat and the shore. Stay close to the anchored boat. Monitor Channel 16.

15.2 The scheduled time for the warning signal is 1015 hours

17 TIME LIMITS

17.1 The time limit for the first boat to finish for the Waupous is 9 hours. The time limit is from the class-starting signal.

17.2 Boats failing to finish within 10 hours from the class starting signal for the Waupous  shall be scored Did Not Finish. This changes RRS 35.

13.   THE COURSE

13.1 Spring and Summer Series – Picton Bay

13.2 End of Summer Series – In the vicinity of McFarland Park

13.3 Course selection will be signaled on the Race Committee Boat by displaying a white board with a Black numeral 1,3 or 4 on it. The board will be located at the back of the Race Committee Boat 

15 THE START
15.1 The scheduled time for the warning signal is 1800 hours

15.2 No later than the warning signal, the race committee signal boat will display the course and designated marks as indicated on Attachment J. 

17 TIME LIMITS

17.1 For all other series the time limit for the first boat in a class to finish all classes is 2 hours.  The time limit is from the class-starting signal. If the first boat in a class fails to finish within 2 hours of her starting this elapsed time, the race shall be abandoned for that class only. This changes RRS 35.

17.2 Boats failing to finish within  and 2 hours and 30 minutes from the class starting signal for all other series, shall be scored Did Not Finish. This changes RRS 35. 

20  MARKS

20.1 Spring and Summer Series
Marks 1, 2, and start mark will be orange balls and QP 5

20.2 End of Summer Series
       Marks 1, 2, start mark and QP 5 will be orange balls .
